Why are we called Stepping Stone?

Moving to a new country or adapting to a new community can be challenging. Understanding unfamiliar systems, accessing services and building confidence often takes time.

Many people experience barriers that can lead to isolation, poor health, unemployment and limited opportunities.

Stepping Stone4 exists to shorten that journey.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to move forward with confidence and independence.

The name Stepping Stone4 reflects our commitment to helping people overcome barriers through four interconnected pillars: Integration, Health and Wellbeing, Education and Employment.

Together, these four pillars provide a pathway towards inclusion, independence and improved quality of life.

We provide information, advice, advocacy, health promotion, digital inclusion, skills development and community-led support that enables people to access opportunities, improve their wellbeing and participate fully in society.

Our Four Pillars

1. Integration

We support individuals and families to build confidence, access services, develop social connections and participate fully in community life across the UK.
